FIRST IMPRESSIONS ON THE FIRST...

my FIRST IMPRESSION of a ROYAL WEDDING

if history books are correct, another important royal wedding (or few) has happened in my lifetime.

no matter how hard i try though i just can't remember the big event of 1981.

i guess i was too busy doing one-year-old things instead of focusing on the footage.

this time around i had no trouble at all watching beautiful, lengthy footage of the royal wedding.

this is probably because good ol' kate and i have so much in common.

both of us:
were born in the 80's.

married younger guys.

met our said younger guy in england.

have straight hair.
do our own makeup.

like to smile.

had several flower girls.

wore white gowns on april 29, 2011.

gladly kissed our husband.

 

i know there are lots of similarities between us
so if you're having trouble telling us apart i tried my best to think of 
a few differences:

my sister is not named pippa.

i sported a ponytail on april 29, 2011.

my makeup consisted of chapstick.

i wore slippers for the big event.

when i turn sideways, i don't disappear into thin air.

i most definitely don't have a british accent.

i wish my speech writer was available to put into words all i loved about this royal wedding.

but since he is in england all week let me just tell you this:

if i had a piece of jewelry for each time i squealed with delight during the wedding,

i could put the crown jewels to shame.
 and i wasn't the only one squealing at our house.

when miss priss woke up she couldn't decide which was more exciting,

seeing me in my wedding dress or watching a real-life princess getting married on tv.

it was too fun to make our first impressions of a royal wedding together.
