WE NEED(ED) A LITTLE CHRISTMAS...

This year I broke my hard and fast no Christmas music before Thanksgiving rule

(except for the Chris Tomlin's red cd because that's worship music and appropriate year round, duh).

The motivation for playing festive tunes early was we simply needed to in early November.

Our favorite second grader had a solo audition to learn for a class performance of We Need a Little Christmas.

And from that day forward she sang her solo on repeat and also on repeat was a Christmas playlist.

Oh yes, we needed a little Christmas... in the form of holiday prep and activities at home.

Oh yes, we needed a little Christmas... celebration with Evans' family in Houston.

Oh yes, we needed a little Christmas... complete with coordinating Christmas cousins.

 Oh yes, we needed a little Christmas... road trip to Abilene.

Oh yes, we needed a little Christmas... eve projects and Christmas morning success.

Oh yes, we needed a little Christmas... hangout time in our favorite kitchen.

Oh yes, we needed a little Christmas... cheer and memories with family.

Oh yes, we needed a little WHITE Christmas!
