for goodbyes.
this past week has been filled with endings.
last time to eat at chuys, hang out here,
get together impromptu-ly, etc. etc.
with kristin and clay
last time to have live-in grandma babysitters while i work

last time to have live-in grandma babysitters while i work
and quite possibly the last time my family will visit us in austin
i also know this summer is the season...
for new beginnings.

the beginning of the fulghums grand adventure in kansas city

our move to houston
and evan's real adult full-time job
for new beginnings.
the beginning of being a full-time stay at home mom

with the ending of one chapter comes the beginning of another.
goodbyes are never easy for me.
but i am glad to know the power of being thankful for each season of life
and i'm starting to anticipate the fresh new adventure too.

Yay! School's out! Didn't know that Kristen was moving to KC. I'm there right now visiting some old friends! How weird is that? It's a fun town. Went to the power and light district last night and had way too much fun.
And what an amazing adventure it will be! Good for you, Annalee!! I am praying for a smooth transition for you and your family. So much to look forward to!
So excited for you as you begin your new adventure as a stay-at-home-mommy. Doesn't seem real yet, does it? I love how perfectly you worded this time of transition!
I love the new design for your blog! I'm also excited about you being a full-time stay at home mom. Your family is in my prayer's during this exciting and hopefully smooth time! :)
I love the new blog header! That's a great picture of your sweet family. I hope the transition is smooth and that you enjoy your new job at stay at home mommy!
Goodbyes are always hard but I will gladly say goodbye to Georgia if it means Ben has a "real adult job" instead of "law student with a very limited income!" Good luck being a full time stay at home mom, I think you'll love it! I hope I can do that one day!
Awww...
I don't even know you, but your post made me both sad & excited for you.
Good luck on the new adventure!

Hi there! I wanted to say hello, I'm one of those "browsers" of blogs (I like browse better than stalker, ha!). I've linked to your blog off of Kelly's, who did your design make-over. It's beautiful, by the way :-) I just thought it was neat because I, too, was a teacher before I stayed home with my daughter, Abby. (She's 13 months now), and we actually live in the Houston area. We're in Humble. So, I wanted to welcome you when ya'll move. I don't know if you'll be more on the south side or north side, but I still wanted to say hi anyway! I know moving to a new place is overwhelming sometimes, and I know you don't know me at all, but we love meeting new people, and we'd welcome you to our home anytime :-)
We wish you the best!
Blessings!
Amy Beasley
Change is so hard for me too! I'm excited you, too, will be a stay at home mommy-- SO fun!! Can't wait to hear about Houston adventures-- I LOVE Houston. And PS... who's the kindergarten joker in the front row acting as if he needs to go potty?! Ha ha! That cracked me up!
Change is always hard for me. But, Houston has a Chuys, too! Thinking about you guys...
Hey sweet Annalee, the new picture of your family is absolutely adorable. You look like the perfect little family and I know you guys are so glad that Evan is out of school and getting a "real" paying job. :)
I'm so glad that you are getting to stay at home with that precious baby girl. You will never regret staying at home with her, even though you will miss teaching and the teaching world will certainly miss you. You are a fantastic teacher and anyone would be honored to have you teach their child.
Please keep in touch and give me a call when you come to Abilene.
Still miss you bunches!
Love,
Laurie Irby :)
I hope all goes well in the move and the life change. Changes are always tough and always a blessing.
Love the new blog layout. Fabulous K does such a good job!
You made it! School's out for-eh-vah! Here's to new adventures!
Goodbyes stink!! I know you hate to leave but just think about next August when all the other teachers will be hanging bulletin boards and you'll be lunching!! AAHH!!
We have to get Kristin to start a blog of her new life in KS. Let's haze her to do it!
Good luck on your new adventure as a SAHM in Houston! I know only good things are ahead of ya'll!!!!
I know how hard it is to leave friends and a place you love, but i am so excited for this next chapter in your life! Can we please have some Houston adventures? Because now that you are going to be living so close, so there is NO excuse for not having at least one swim date! And we'll have to have you and E over for dinner one night. Love you!
I looove the girl in your class with pig tails, librarian glasses, shorts and COWBOY BOOTS... a girl after my own heart!
i didn't know you were going to get to stay home with adelaide - that's great! I have cherished my time as a stay-at-home mom, and I can't wait to learn from you as you start this incredible journey!
What a blessing that you get to stay home with your cutie!! We look forward to seeing you in houston, you'll have to come over to swim this summer.
I know that change can be hard but it is also exciting. I am so happy for you that you will be able to stay at home. If you need anything, we are in Houston as well. Best of luck with everything.
