YEE-HAW,
It's that time again.
Time for rodeo clowns galore.
When we first moved to Houston one-year-old Adelaide and I explored the livestock show together.
Throughout all of March I observed the whole city get into the rodeo spirit,
watched the trail riders come through town, and went to a rodeo and concert with Evan.
It was that month that I realized how glad I was to live in our new hometown.
And so rodeo season always makes me smile over where we live once again.
Our second year in Houston we had an additional cowpoke named Graham to bring with us.
And just a couple years after that Mae joined in the tradition too.
All three are now actually old enough to look forward to this month in their hometown.
And I'm more than happy to take their crazy selves to the craziness of rodeo fun.
This year's adventure included taking shelter beneath the awning of the bumper car tent
while we waited out the heavy thunderstorms for over an hour.
But at the end of the night Adelaide's two year long dream of riding the giant swings came true.
She was finally tall enough and the rain held off just long enough.
Livestock Show/Rodeo/Carnival/Adventure success!
