SOCCER GRAHAM...

Once upon a Saturday in September,

we ventured to the soccer fields to watch Graham play in his first game.

He suited up in his light blue, number 7 jersey.

He put on his soccer socks, and shinguards, and cleats.

And he was officially one of the "Sharks."

It was hot. We were all melting on the sidelines,

so I can only imagine how hot it was to be running around out there.

But he played his (chill) heart out and he was SO fun to watch play.

He casually went after the ball wherever it was in the field with such determination.

He scored four goals. He played all four quarters.

He had many cheering fans, but pictured here with his four biggest fans.

Then we were out-of-town a few Saturdays, and after that

it was such a bummer ALL the rest of his games were rained out.

It was an amazing season (game) I will always remember though.
