we are officially in the newborn daze.
the stage where it seems hard to remember your life
has ever been different than it is in this exact moment.
but at the same time it seems your babies are growing
and changing quickly with each second that passes.
the only thing constant around here is that everything is changing.
emotions run high.
there are the moments where i can't believe i really get to
do my dream job with these people i love so much.

moments where it seems that we are all adjusting really well.

do my dream job with these people i love so much.
moments where it seems that we are all adjusting really well.
then in the next moment four out of five of us are simultaneously crying.
we have laid-low and tried to stay as germ-free in these newborn days.the time has gone by in a flurry of feedings and laundry.
(fellow moms of three have confirmed that the biggest change from
two to three kids is doing laundry daily is no longer optional.)countless hours have been logged on the couch and in front of the tv.
the backyard and good winter weather have become two of my favorite things.
we rediscovered the greatness of a field trip to the pet store.
the same can be said for the zoo, park, and neighborhood walks.
these outings are good for us all.
and the perfect locations for baby carrier training.

"home is where the heart can laugh without shyness.
home is where the heart's tears can dry at their own pace."

i am thankful for these lazy, hazy, crazy newborn days.
and even more thankful for the people i spend them with.

What a precious post! I love your thoughts, your words, your desires to be a stay at home mom! I am so proud of you young mothers and your decisions!!! Love all the pictures and can hardly wait to see your latest little doll!
I know what you mean.
Noelle will be 1 in a few short months and I just can't believe it. And oh my goodness the laundry!
Your family is so precious!! People ask me all the time how it is to have three and my usual response is - BUSY! Ha! It's great! Never a dull moment!
Precious :) I could totally relate to everything you wrote about...from simultaneously crying to the laundry to those beautiful moments where it feels like everything may just be getting under control. It's all of those things that make life so amazingly awesome and crazy :) Thanks for sharing your heart!
Totally related to each word! (Even though I have only two little loves!)
