on a cool winter day in 2003,
in oxford, england i first spoke with evan.
one of the FIRST things i noticed about him
was how INTERESTING i thought he was.

all these years later,
i have confirmed that FIRST IMPRESSION was spot on.
i still think the same thing about him.
he is equally comfortable discussing
legal documents, scriptures, parenting, and song lyrics.
i love the way evan can answer all my vocabulary questions,
technology inquiries, and current events confusion.

i continue to be amazed how comfortable he is in each situation.
he is just as much himself at work as he is at home.
i love this about him.
and i love never knowing what he will say next.
