LET'S HEAR IT FOR M-O-M...

last week we were quite busy celebrating MOMS.

let's begin, shall we?

last sunday,
i felt quite celebrated as a MOM and wore my title of queen of the pool quite proudly.

i was treated to starbucks delivery before church, hungry's for lunch, fun in the sun,
then dinner at el tiempo to celebrate with other great MOMS.

on tuesday we left for a 48 hour jaunt to abilene. my MOM-in-law came up with a great plan,
to help me get to meet up with this sweet friend who recently became a MOM.

it was too much fun to do our MOM thing together for a day,
and meet the adorable, southern gentleman who made sarah beth a mom while they were in town.

it was quite the bonus to see my own MOM (and dad)
who graciously hosted us in the final days of teaching before summer.
i'm thankful for these ladies who teach me what a great MOM looks like.

i'm thankful i get to be a MOM alongside this amazing MOM.

i'm thankful for an awesome sister who puts up with me when i forget my role

and occasionally act like i'm her MOM.

and i'm thankful for cousins who gave me a little practice ahead of time
on what it might one day be like to be a MOM.

it's the hardest job i've ever had,
but if you promise not to tell my former bosses i'll let you in on a little secret,
being a MOM is hands-down my most favorite job ever.
