college roommates are friends:
who know what you are like when you stay up too late
and when you have to get up early and still love you.
who could pick out your most genuine laugh
and know what makes you cry.
who love you even though you say you should not have to
contribute to the cable bill since you never ever watch tv.
that stood by your side while you figured out what is important
and made plenty of mistakes along the way.
who celebrate each other's gifts whether they be
chauffeuring, painting fingernails, knowing the best movies to watch,
orchestrating dance parties, or giving out medical diagnoses for free.
that you couldn't count how many
slumber parties you've shared even if you tried.
it seems to me,
we haven't changed a bit.

oh, so fun! remember when i tried to convince my dad to let me say i was living at "home" sophomore year and instead, live with y'all? looks like i would have had a really fun year! :)

when I think of my roommate I think of:
1. Lipton Pasta Sides
2. Dancing to the "Law & Order:SVU" theme song.
3. A mysterious creature called "The Skunk Ape"
4. Making our boyfriends take out the trash in our apartment

I am TOTALLY laughing about what Jen said about making the boyfriends take out trash at their apartment. Chris STILL whines about us making him do that.
