there goes a peter cottontail (or two or three).
i can't believe easter has already come and gone.
somehow the robin's eggs and reese's peanut butter eggs have gone as well.
we started celebrating early this year with a playdate easter egg hunt.
it was incredible to see miss priss confidently climbing and running around picking up eggs.
such a difference from last easter with my little, cautious, scoot-on-the-booty machine!
we were in warrenton the week before easter for the semi-annual antique show.
adelaide and carson enjoyed a daily diet of sweet drinks, cinnamon rolls, and kettle corn.
they also perfected saying "cheers" before each bite while hanging out in the bubble lounge.

throughout the show, grammy sherri ran the study abroad preschool.
while grandmom chic, myself, and others worked in the outdoor kitchen,
grammy took care of keeping the munchkins well-entertained and cared for.
this easter sunday was one to remember.
we'd been in the country for ten days. we were tired, but so excited to celebrate
easter day- a day filled with hope and new beginnings.
and g had the wonderful treat of spending his first easter with all four of his grandparents.
it might be a crime to love seersucker this much.
i know, i know, the outfits aren't the true meaning of easter,
but they bring a big smile to my face none the less.
and as for those sweet curls, i'm still amazed they don't even require pink sponge rollers.
hope your easter was filled with hope and chocolate too!

Just precious :)
My kiddos wore seersucker too...love it! The photos of your family amongst the wildflowers are beautiful.
Wow, it looks like the McCord Easter was fantastic! Love Adelaide's curls and her precious dress. :) How fun that Lynn and Sherri got to join in the fun of Zapp Hall this year, even if they were the baby sitters. I love the pictures in the bluebonnets too.
love that mccord family. can leighton come to the grammy sherri study abroad program sometime? i think she would like it.
we tried to make a visit to the antique show, but i was SO overwhelmed. we ended up going to la grange and just shopping the town square. maybe when my kiddo is a bit older or when i can go sans kiddo i'll make it. it was bumper to bumper and obviously very popular!
Love the seersucker! Love the pictures!(as always)
Have a fantastic week!
love the seersucker & those curls!! so cute!
Your kids are adorable! Love their coordinating seersucker.
Y'all are the equivalent of carnies at the antique show...just not in the creepy or weird sense:) What a fun tradition!
Oh my goodness...it's been ages since I've seen the gorgeous bluebonnets of Texas spring. Love them and also love seersucker:)
-You looked perfect in your dress!
-Adelaide looks so much like you in that first picture!
-Swing picture = hilarious
-Carson are the sweetest cousins!
Such beautiful family pictures!!! Looks like a sweet Easter!
And the one of you and Graham from the post before....Oh My Gosh! So cute!
You have the most precious family! Looks like a fabulous Easter!
(sigh) i miss bluebonnets. beautiful pics as always!
Love that seersucker and those cute, cute kiddos!!
Where in the world did you get Graham's seersucker outfit? I have been looking all over the internet for little rompers like that because I want to dress Easton in cute little things and I hate all the stupid little sayings that practically every piece of boy clothing says at stores. Ugh, why do people think little boy's moms like those things!
g's outfit was from a sample sale in katy called wiggles and giggles. it comes to town twice a year and has really great stuff at great prices!
I always love your pictures. The one of Adelaide and Carson sharing a soda is SO CUTE!!
Pink sponge rollers. WOW.
