and she is doing so with a little more ease each day!
i never knew i would learn to appreciate each step of the process this much.
from figuring out how to get up on her knees, to using her arms to move forward,
each part is evidently quite important.
i'm finding out a lot goes into each step we take.
and i'm so excited for the way adelaide is taking lots of baby steps towards her goals.
during each "walking lesson" (physical therapy appointment)
i get to see those sweet chubby legs become a little more stable.
i get to see those sweet chubby legs become a little more stable.
and each time we practice her homework moves i watch first-hand
as she becomes a little more confident that she really can do it.
i love you baby girl. and i know you can do it!
i don't ever want us to wait until reaching a destination to give thanks.
there is so much to celebrate and praise God for all along the way.
so keep moving forward adelaide, and keep smiling all along the way.

Yay, Adelaide! She'll be dancing in no time! :o)
Thank you so much for sharing this on your blog. My daughter has just started therapy as well (8 months) because she will not sit, crawl, or bear weight on her legs to stand with assistance. I thought I would see a HUGE difference after a few appointments. I was wrong! I truly am trying to focus on each little improvement now. I know your little one will continue to do well :)

Thanks for the paint colors Annalee! I'll let you know how it turns out :)
Adelaide is too cute for words!
Adelaide's got quite an arm...her therapist better watch out! :)
YAY!! She will be walking in no time. :)
Dear Adelaide,
We are so proud of you!! You are going to be moving and shaking the world on those legs before we know it!
PS - I don't know why I cried through this whole post - happy tears! :)
What a cutie!!!
Way to go Adelaide! That therapy place is so cool!
Go Adelaide! She'll be running before you know it!
Good arm baby girl! Where can I get one of those swings?! I am so excited for you to be able to see Adelaide improving! I am in awe everyday I wake up and Avelyn is a little bit faster, a little more balanced and so much more confident. Adelaide has such a sweet giggle and smile, she just melts my heart!
This is so sweet. You are a great mom! Go Adelaide, what a big girl!! So precious!
Go, Adelaide! She'll get there before you know it. She is so lucky to have you as her momma!
Isn't therapy great! Brody is doing really well too. He is now walking holding only one of your hands and its all he wants to do. I can remember the days when he simply refused to even put his legs down...no weight at all on those jokers. We're just waiting on the balance part to kick in and he's got it. She'll be walking in no time!
Yeah Adalaide! I know she will be up & runnin' before you know it! She is precious & it looks like she gets to do some neat things at therapy.
I'm proud of how hard you're working, sweet Adelaide! You can do it! My girls have been working with OT since they were 4 months old and I've seen GREAT strides. It won't be long!
You will be running before you know it Adelaide!! Have fun! You are so cute :)
Such a sweet girl!
I, too, was amazed at all of the "steps" that go into taking that first step! Jane was discharged from PT yesterday. I know Adelaide will be right behind her!
My mom has been asking about Miss A, so glad for a good report! Looks like she's doin' great. Lots of love, M
how have i never thought to record therapy!!!???!! Great idea!! She looks great! Way to go Adelaide AND MOMMY!!
Yay Adelaide!!! You keep truckin'! I know you'll be walking in no time. Then your mommy won't be able to keep up you. Keep smiling, sweet girl!!! :)
That swing looks like so much fun!!
Her hair is getting so thick and with such beautiful curls! Aunt SB is proud, I'm sure. Of course Adelaide will be running around soon, and probably running you to exhaustion!!!
Annalee,
You are such an encouragement- "give thanks along the way". Thanks for that precious reminder.
Adelaide is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Love, Sarah
