A THANKFUL HEART...

sometimes i have moments of being overwhelmed with gratitude for the countless blessings i have received. all too often though i am caught up in my selfishness and don't stop pouting over something inconsequential long enough to take a realistic look at my life. i'm thankful for this season that reminds us to be thankful for the big and small things alike. may thanksgiving each year remind me of the thankful heart i strive to have, the thankful heart i am called to have. and with each passing year may i grow closer to being thankful in all situations.

here are some glimpses of thankful week 2008...

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever, his faithfulness continues through all generations. -PSALM 100

All of these pictures are great and I can see the joy on all of your faces. I'm so glad you enjoyed your Thankful Week with family.

I like Adelaide's Christmas tree...that's a good idea to give her one she can touch. My mantra this Christmas will probably be, "No touch." Baby D likes to explore and I think the Christmas tree will be just too big of a temptation. (:
