how very thankful i am that the heart of christmas does indeed live in my heart,
and that God sent Him to be born here on earth for us.
it is my 1st christmas as a mom and aunt and with that came a new outlook on the miracle of life.

witt is back in the icu right now with an infection.
just 1 week from now adelaide and witt will celebrate their 1st christmas.
the update on witt's blog says it best-
"They can't guarantee he will be home by Christmas, but I guarantee Christ will be with him!"

I feel very bad leaving you a message here, instead of handwriting a thank-you card with real stationary...but since it is all located in a box that could undoubtedly not get unpacked until July, I will take my chances and ask for your forgiveness at my lack of class....
When I went to the mailbox on Thursday, I was having a really yucky day. The package you sent made me cry...partly because it made me miss Austin and all the memories of Christmas there. But mostly because of the preciousness of your sweet heart! Thank you so much for thinking of us. You remain, to this day, one of the most thoughtful, amazing girls I know.
I really want to get Meredith and Adelaide together someday. Only being 5 days apart, they're bound to end up being Siggies together, right?
