M-O-M....

i don't even know where to begin
(and i am a professional rambler so this is out-of character),
but i am so overwhelmed with the amazing gift of being a mom.
i always thought i would love it, but i must admit these last few weeks
leading up to jan. 9th i got so nervous about the whole idea of
being responsible and trusted with our very own tiny baby
i couldn't think straight.

now we are home and i keep trying to figure out
how it is possible to be so exhausted and emotional and thankful
and filled with unconditional love all at the same time.
i think that's what makes this motherhood thing hands down
the most amazing thing i have ever done!

praise God for this blessing-
technically weighing less that 10 pounds,
but already unmeasurable in my heart.

*thank you for all your sweet comments on the arrival news,
i promise lots more pics and info. is coming soon!

I'm so excited for you! She's absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to see that sweet GIRL! The pictures of ya'll coming home are emotional to me bc I remember how sweet it is to bring your baby home for the first time. It's all overwhelming and emotional, but it's so wonderful to finally have her there in your arms! I hope you're feeling well and getting some rest. Thank goodness for families!

What a perfect description-so many emotions but the greatest is definitely love!

I am so glad that your family is complete and at home. I can't think of anyone who be a better Mom, but I must admit I was relieved to know it makes a natural like you a little nervous. I can't get over how adorable Adelaide is-she has fabulous lips by the way. I am so thankful Evan is your partner in the adventure of parenting. I am always reminded of what a great team y'all are when we get to be with you. We are so excited for y'all and praying for your family!

Ok, so now it's for REAL. Yes you have been pregnant and yes you have shown us tons of pictures of the process. But I really cannot believe that you brought home a real live baby! WOW! Can't wait to meet her. So happy you are doing so well afterward.
