saturday marked a very exciting day in my life...my bff kristin got engaged! 
and not just to any old nice guy but to our dear friend clay. 
okay, okay, i know what your thinking, shouldn't this have marked a very exciting day in their lives? why am i so elated too? well, i have only been dreaming of who she would marry for about as long as i wondered who i would marry myself. this girl is a catch and going to make one beautiful bride, and a wonderful Godly wife. i have been praying for this specifically to happen since we met clay. that is over 2 stinkin' years of trying to be patient, trying to refrain from prodding things along in my timing, and not be pushy about this seemingly perfect idea. so you can imagine my sheer delight when kristin, clay, and most importantly God all finally agreed! obviously i am thrilled about the whole situation, but what means even more is that they couldn't be happier and we all celebrate with them. i can't wait to see the way these 2 strong people use their gifts to do even more together.
