today can be summed up with two words... ROOT CANAL.
i had part 2 of my r.c. done today. part 1 went so well, that midway through i actually woke up and felt so great that i found myself hoping it wasn't almost done so i could continue my nap. i love the feeling of laughing gas! it is my drug of choice.
today's experience took 4 hours and my jaw will not move now because of it. our house is a lot quieter than usual tonight. i'm realizing how often my jaw is usually open talking, singing, rambling, or laughing.
even though i feel pretty sore right now, i have to give a big shout out to dr. horne! this should have been the most mouth pain i have ever felt, but really the procedure was completely bearable because of my awesome new dentist and staff. i am really passionate about them in case you can't tell. they have a major gift with mouths. if you are looking for a dentist here in austin just let me know. i will give you his number!
i also have to say a big thanks to ev who made my favorite soup for dinner and is being extra patient with me while i am being just a little grumpy!
